MY PATH TO BECOMING A NUTRITIONIST AND FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE PRACTITIONER BEGAN WITH A RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF ANSWERS TO MY OWN HEALTH CHALLENGES.
Despite countless blood tests coming back “normal,” I was far from well. Labels like depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and migraines led to a cocktail of medications, yet I still didn’t feel myself. In searching for solutions, I discovered functional medicine — and for the first time, someone took the time to connect the dots and explore the bigger picture of what might be driving my symptoms.

Falling through the cracks of conventional medicine ignited a journey of learning, reflection, and transformation. It gave me both a fresh perspective on my own health and a deep passion to support others facing similar struggles. That experience inspired me to retrain, first qualifying in Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, followed by advanced training in Functional Medicine with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in the USA.

A Personal Mission
The journey took on a new level of meaning when my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and sensory processing differences. While the diagnosis brought relief in finally having an explanation, I soon realised it was not the end of the road but the beginning of a new one. A label alone didn’t change his day-to-day challenges with anxiety, communication, focus, and behaviour.

Determined to support him in the best way possible, I immersed myself in the research, connected with experts, and began exploring the complex interplay between nutrition, genetics, environment, and neurodevelopment. This personal mission continues to shape both my practice and my deep empathy for families navigating similar paths.
THIS WAS NOT ABOUT TRYING TO 'FIX' HIM OR CHANGE WHO HE WAS, BUT ABOUT HELPING HIM TO BE THE VERY BEST VERSION OF HIMSELF AND TO REACH HIS FULLEST POTENTIAL

The evolution of re:health
WHAT STARTED AS A PERSONAL JOURNEY TO RECLAIM MY HEALTH HAS EVOLVED INTO SOMETHING MUCH BIGGER.
What started as a personal journey to reclaim my health has evolved into something much bigger. Re:Health was born out of a calling to create a collaborative, client-centred clinic that brings together skilled practitioners, each with their own areas of expertise. I envisioned a practice where we could work as a team to provide comprehensive, personalised care that is greater than the sum of its parts.

At Re:Health, we bring together our collective knowledge and experience to look at the bigger picture behind complex health challenges, providing clients with clear, personalised strategies. This collaborative approach allows us to support people in ways that no single practitioner could achieve alone, offering expertise in brain & mental health, gut health, women’s health and complex illness. Our shared mission is to help clients feel understood, supported, and guided with care that is practical, evidence-based, and designed to make a real difference.
